The Maggie Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is the energizing and vitalizing force of the community. It seeks to unite all of the tourism, commercial, governmental, industrial, religious, educational and civic interests for the purpose of concerted action in supporting those activities which are broader than any single business or industry, but which promote the welfare of the area and county as a whole.

The principle duties of the Chamber are:

• To Market Maggie Valley and Haywood County as a year round vacation destination and promote visitor services in order to enhance the economic growth and development of the area; and
• Advance and safeguard travel and tourism, the civic and cultural community and the commercial, governmental, industrial and agricultural interests of Maggie Valley; and
• Play a major role in developing a program to make Maggie Valley a better place in which to live and succeed.

The Maggie Valley’s business community meets the FIRST TUESDAY of each month for their RISE and SHINE networking session, 9:00 a.m., Maggie Valley Pavilion. All Maggie Valley area businesses are invited to attend.
